DAP’S ‘STUMBLING COCKY’ POLITICIANS

Seeing DAP in action as part of a (State) Government, as compared to being in the opposition, has certain given me a degree of insight into the way they conduct themselves.

Well, quite honestly since March 2008, it is quite evident that within DAP, there are several ‘Little Napoleons’ that even Lim Kit Siang and son, Guan Eng cannot rein in.

In the past, father and son managed to get rid of so-called recalcitrants like Kua Kia Soong & Wee Choo Keong and rival Kerk Kim Hock for example in order to cement their position within the party.

However, it is evident that things are not so rosy and united in DAP.

In Perak, you have the ‘Taugeh’ combination in the Nga and Ngeh leadership where initially they were close to causing damage to the Pakatan Rakyat machinery by appearing to be the eminence grise of the Pakatan Rakyat government in Perak ….. with Nizar as the figure head Menteri Besar!

We are now witnessing the Selangor fiasco with DAP strongman, Ronnie Liu being implicated once too often.

Yes, one may say that he’s a constant target because he is always in the limelight ….. but surely because one is a target, one would not be so easily implicated like allowing somebody to use your own letter-head!

Look at the Elizabeth Wong. After being embarrassed by those not too nice photographs of her having a nap, she has learnt to keep a lower profile whilst still being an effective Assemblyman!

But not dear old Ronnie.

And to top it off, there is the State Speaker, Teng Chang Khim, who had to stick his nose in with a stupid Tweeter comment!

And when he is hauled in by the DAP Disciplinary Board head, Tan Kok Wai, to clarify, Teng makes another stupid condition that he will only respond if asked as a DAP member!

Of course he has been hauled in as a DAP member. Does he think the DAP Disciplinary Board can call in Khir Toyo to clarify?

It is quite obvious that DAP, like many of the other parties, are suffering from ego issues ….. and they are certainly not amusing from the perspective of the Rakyat.

May be a good time for all to do some self-reflection!!
